Becoming a volunteer!
You could become a volunteer (age 12 years and over) - learn new skills, meet people and have fun!
We currently have over 200 members - of all ages - and over 100 volunteers. Thanks to their hard work and enthusiasm, the animals have never been better looked after and the farm goes from strength to strength. Volunteers can help out on the farm in many ways- feed and look after the animals, gardening and even helping out at events.
To volunteer, you will need to become a member of the farm which costs from £10 per year (please call for full details)
If gardening is your thing, why not rent one of our allotment plots? They cost just £10 for the year and you can even borrow our tools! The farm practices organic horticulture, so no pesticides can be used, but other than that you can grow whatever you like. Just the job if you fancy a few flowers or a bit of organic veg.
We can offer team building days for companies and organizations and work experience placements.
If you are thinking about volunteering or like further information on team building work placements or memberships or any other enquiry, please give us a call on: 0116 253 7582.
Please note: All enquiries for volunteering will only be accepted via post or telephone, apologies for any inconvenience caused.
