How we raise funds!

We are grant aided by Leicester City Council which covers around third of the money we need to raise each year. We also regularly apply for - and if we are lucky - receive grants from various organisations. In the past these have included Local Alchemy and Community Chest and recently the Heritage Lottery Fund helped to pay for a barn, fencing, information signs, paving and printed items.

Each year we organise two fundrasing events: the Rural Day in the spring and the Family Fun Day in the Summer. Attractions range from willow weaving to sheep shearing, from face painting to welly wanging. The money raised from these helps to keep the wolf from the door - and we don't want any wolves what with all the sheep we've got!

If you would like to help the farm, you could support one of our events or maybe become a member or adopt an animal. Or, you could just drop in next time you're passing and say hi to the animals. They'd love to see you!

Even the animals enjoy our events,
just take a look at the turkeys checking out the stalls
