Self Led Visits

Our self-led school visits are ideal for schools who want to explore the farm on their own terms.

The visit starts with an introduction to the farm and some instructions about how to stay safe.

After that the group is welcome to explore the farm at their own pace. There is an audio trail at intervals around the farm to give you some detail about the animals, we also have plenty of information boards and you can always ask a member of staff if you have any questions.

The farm has a large central picnic & play area where you will also find the picnic barn which can be hired for the day by groups for just £5. We also have a lovely wildlife area and nature pond for groups to explore and for a small extra cost we offer mini beast hunts and pond dipping.

A fantastic supplement to a self-led visit is some animal feed which is always a hit with our animals particularly the goats and sheep.
